Research Interests
My research focuses on building reliable and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems. I build methods for using synthetic data to help us understand brains both in vivo and in silico. Currently, that work involves building and interpreting generative models for rat behavior, human speech Brain-Computer Interfaces, and safe Artificial Intelligence.
