Research Interests

My research focuses on building reliable and trustworthy machine learning systems, specifically with applications to neuroscience. I develop statistically-grounded methods for robust and uncertainty-aware neural networks. Currently, I am working on applying these methods to brain-computer interfaces to decode neural signals into speech in order to help patients regain the ability to speak.
